The MANTRA IRIS SCAN MIS100V2 is a high-quality USB iris sensor designed for iris-based authentication in desktop and network security environments. It is STQC certified and outputs ISO/IEC 19794-6 compliant JPEG2000 compressed images (KIND1 to KIND7), making it suitable for Aadhaar Authentication, AEBAS, Jeevan Pramaan, NREGA, banking KYC, and PDS deployments.
Built on proprietary distance sensing and focus analysis technology, the MIS100V2 delivers fast auto-capture with a built-in quality check, completing a compliant iris scan in under 2 seconds. Its near-infrared imaging at 700-900 nm captures clear iris texture regardless of iris colour, with 8 bits/pixel depth and greater than 10 pixels/mm resolution for accurate pattern matching. The inbuilt LED indications help operators quickly identify and correct poor quality captures.
The device features a plug-and-play USB 2.0 interface compatible with Windows XP, Win7, Win2008, Android, Linux, and Embedded Linux, allowing easy integration into existing IT infrastructure. It is protected against ESD (8 KV air discharge, 4 KV contact discharge), complies with FCC Part 15B/CISPR 22 Class B radiated emission standards, and is RoHS compliant with IEC 62471 safety exemption. A 1-year warranty and 1-year RD service subscription are included by default, with renewals chargeable separately.
